USA Membership Requirements

USA Lacrosse support leagues and programs that keep the game safer, fair and fun. The aim is simple. USA Lacrosse deliver resources to the lacrosse community that creates the best atmosphere for players of all ages, backgrounds, sizes and skill levels to thrive. From coach and official education to safety research to showcasing the sport’s best players with our national teams, USA Lacrosse works with the community to provide leadership in all key aspects of the sport. We invite you to experience the joy the sport has to offer.

Similar to other sports, USA Lacrosse is the overall governing body of lacrosse programs across the country. All of the Coaches and our Board President must keep a valid membership to be part of New Oxford Boys Youth Lacrosse. The York County Lacrosse Association requires all players, coaches and referees to keep a valid membership to be part of our league.

With membership USA Lacrosse provides our Coaches and Referees with the proper training and certifications to provide best in class coaching methodologies and game play experience. Our board president receives the latest updates to the safety requirements, required certifications, and the latest changes to the sport to help keep us all safe and to be successful as an organization.

Lastly, USA Lacrosse provides insurance to the player wherever their lacrosse journey may take them!
